West Virginia University Shuttles |
There are two worthwhile airports to fly into. The first is only three miles from Morgantown, The Morgantown Municipal Airport. There are three convenient ground transportation options once you’ve landed. | |
One option is Taxi-cabs. There is only one company that works directly with the airport Yellow Cab. It would be in your best interest to call ahead, though you can book from within the airport. You can also try car rentals. Hertz and Avis are the two companies available from this airport. There will be a desk within the airport that you can rent the vehicle from or you can call ahead. Keep in mind age restrictions and it would be a good idea to find out if there is a drop off point in Morgantown so that you don’t have to drive the car back to the airport. For a ride to the airport try an airport shuttle. There is only one shuttle service ISA-WVU. The second airport is much further but your ticket price may be less expensive, Pittsburgh International Airport in Pennsylvania. This airport also has three convenient forms of ground transportation to and from the school. Cabs, car rentals, and shuttles. All of the same info applies to this airport as well except with the taxi services. There are many more to choose from, and if you didn’t call ahead, it should be no problem. Pittsburgh is a big city and cabs are not hard to find. There is also a place to book a cab from within the airport. If you are fortunate enough to be in a position to choose where you will go to school, a major factor that should be considered and is often overlooked is name recognition and alumni base. About West Virginia University West Virginia University also offers one of the most fun parts of any college experience, sports.
