About West Town
West Town historically has been known for its diverse population mix. That mix now represents the bohemian, student, artist type personality which seems to draw in the more affluent residents. West Town is considered the combination of eight neighborhoods (Pulaski Park, Wicke Park, Ukrainian Village, East Village, River West, Noble Square Humbolt Park, and Smith Park). Each of these areas are known for their shopping, culinary delights, and night life.

The Chicago Transportation Authority (CTA) provides public transportation for the area by way of the CTA Blue Line. There are for stops in the neighborhood and direct access to O’Hare International Airport and the Loop. The Kennedy Expressway or I-90 is the thoroughfare for commuters to travel downtown.

Many residence of West Town attend the Do Division Street Fest and Sidewalk Sale annually. It’s where Garage Sale meets festival with lots of activities and things to buy.
