Things to do in Wausau Walk alongside the Wisconsin River on the lighted walking tails which includes a Pedestrian bridge. Pick strawberries in the summer at the Black Creek Strawberry Farm Edgar, WI. Other activities include kayaking, fishing, boating, and other water sport. There are 16 places for boat landings that give you access to the Wisconsin River. Places to fish include Bluegill Bay Park, Oak Island Park, and Gilbert Park. You can also go over to Schofield Dam to fish. Even in the winter months you can find fishing in Wausau.
