About Von Braun Center This arena is known as the ‘Jewel of the South’ due to its unique blend of cosmopolitan attractions and Southern elegance. It is prime solution for events and meetings. It carries enough lively events to bring in around 2.5 million visitors annually. It was named after a rocket pioneer by the name of Wernher Von Braun. Its seating capacity is impressive at 10,000 seats. Features and Amenities of Von Braun Center This arena spans 148 square miles. Huntsville is outlined by the rolling Tennessee River Valley hills and the mesas. Huntsville ranks as the largest city of Northern Alabama and Madison County, with more than 185,000 residents of its own. The metro area records more than 435,000 residents and continues to grow.
