If bike riding isn’t your forte for getting around town then you have the option of being a part of one of the leading ride share programs of the country, Zipcars. Zipcar recently launched a new self-service program allowing an individual to rent a car online. And thanks to a grant this service is fee free for the first year of membership to student, faculty and staff of the university.

Aside from taking a cab to the local airport, McGhee Tyson, the Dean of Students at the University of Tennessee designed a program that provides transportation assistance back home to students during specific breaks.
