There are many operations performed here that have never been done before. One of its specialties is transplants. Patients come worldwide to be cared for at this hospital. UCLA is known not only for the level of education it gives, but also its graduates. Jackie Robinson, Arthur Ashe, James Dean and Jim Morrison all graduated from UCLA. It is known for Noble and Pulitzer prize winners also. One of the biggest draws to UCLA is the film community. More movies have been filmed on or around this campus, than any other school. With the Hollywood film community so close, this brings a great deal of money to the school. This helps with funding and keeps students costs down. For a public institution, this is quite a plus.
