Times Square and Midtown West Airporrt Shuttle Service
The area is also sometimes referred to as Clinton. Cost of living is rising in the area, though it remains one of the cheaper neighborhoods in midtown. The current residents are a mix of actors/actresses that are coming in from Chelsea and older residents.

About Times Square and Midtown West Many of the residents in Midtown West are spilling over from Chelsea. There is some confusion as to what is Midtown West and what is Hell’s Kitchen. Die-hard New Yorkers will argue the difference between Midtown West, Hell’s Kitchen, and Clinton all day. For the most part, the three terms all refer to the same area. Unlike many other districts, Midtown West has very little historical standing so new buildings are free to go up wherever people would like to put them. This is very important for real estate developers, as well as how easy it is to book a limo service to JFK airport or to shared ride vans to LGA International. The area over the years has led to an improvement in the local public schools. The district has fewer parks than other neighborhoods though some green space was added as part of the area’s improvements. Hell’s Kitchen Park is one such small park. Clinton Community Garden was created by actors who moved into the area. Because many of them work at night the area can be fairly active during the day. Parking in the area used to be easy to find compared to other neighborhoods. Increased building in the district has led to a decline in open lots. The Lincoln Tunnel connects to New Jersey and can be a bit tricky. Other than that, this is one of the easier neighborhoods in midtown to navigate. Because Midtown West is so close to Times Square many people want to live there in order to be close to their work. Keep in mind that the transit system makes it easy to get across districts fairly quickly. | |
