About the South Towne Exposition Center This facility has all modern technology needed to meet the needs of presenters and exhibitors. The South Towne Exposition Center is a large, single story building that is located in downtown Sandy, Utah. This building is composed of two kinds of spaces. The largest space in the building is the exposition or exhibition hall itself, which measures 48,500 square feet in total. This large exhibition space has all necessary audio and visual equipment as well as power and Internet set ups and can be divided into up to five spaces to accommodate multiple events at the same time or make things more comfortable for smaller events and groups. The convention center also has meeting rooms available. There are three large meeting room areas. One of these is 2200 square feet and cannot be divided. It is best suited for large groups or conferences. The other two rooms are 6400 square feet each and can be divided into four smaller meeting or conference rooms each. The South Towne Exposition Center also has its own on-site kitchen, which allows for in-house meal preparation and catering for business meetings and special events as needed. The facility coordinators can provide further information on room rentals as well as catering and food service information. Things to do in Sandy Salt Lake City also has a tremendous planetarium, the Clark Planetarium, which contains a planetarium, a discovery center, a children’s museum and an IMAX theater. The Natural History Museum of Utah is also located in Salt Lake City with fans of fine arts can go to the Utah Museum of Fine Arts as well.
