 | Riverton Regional Airport, a municipal (city owned and publically used) airport, lies just seven miles from the heart of the city of Riverton, Wyoming. While most flights are general and public flights, one commercial airline, Great Lakes Airlines, is scheduled to make stops at the airport. |
About Riverton Airport RIW Airport Terminals Hertz and Avis Rental Cars are both available at the terminal. Rental counter hours are subject to change, but they generally run the same hours as the airport 4:30 am until 30 minutes past last flight. For those who need taxi services, Gator Creek Taxi and JB Taxi are both contracted to work with the airport and are often on site in a designated area of the parking lot. Wind River Public Transit Authority is the local public bus that makes frequent stops at the airport. Stops are roughly every half hour. Maps, routes, destinations and fare cards are all available at the information stand inside the airport and often can be found at the bus stop in the plastic box on the bench shelter.
