The Huffiness Trails of Art
It was created in order to provide local craftsmen and artists a spot to sell and promote their own works. This show is a must see event in Richardson Park. This event has grown from its humble beginnings to one of the best crafts and arts shows in the North Texas. The City of Richardson will do their best just to make sure that it is an accessible event once you are there.

The Richardson’s Corporate Challenge
It is like the Olympics. The completion involves 25 non-athletic and athletic events. The game is held the very last week of august and ends the first 2 weeks of October. The companies compete in events such as softball, volleyball, golf, billiards etc. These activities promote a general physical fitness for employees of every company public or private. It also promotes corporate values such as foster and conduct, education, research, analysis and study of the collection of statistical data relating to physical fitness.

Its missions are to bring area businesses in Richardson and their employees in recreational activities that will then generally create a corporation. And above all it will improve the idea of volunteerism within the companies itself.

Cottonwood Festival
This is a semi annual event in Richardson that features the art works of the nation’s best in visual arts. This event is located in the Richardson Cottonwood Park. It is a prestigious event in art that have been in doing for the last forty years. The festival starts at the month of May and it is free admission.

Wild Flower Festival
It is an event that features art and music since 1993. Every year Richardson is having a concert to promote arts and music. This event happens every month of April. The Wild Flower becomes the "best of the fest" and received more than 50 awards for the last years.  And it is recognized as one of the top 100 festivals held in the United States of America.

Richardson’s family Fourth of July Fireworks Show
Fireworks will paint the sky once the time reaches the 4^th of July at exactly 6:00 pm up to 10:15 pm. This tradition in Richardson is free to all. Anyone can see it, even you. The visitors are encouraged to bring their own family to picnic under the beautiful evenings stars. Before the fireworks, they offer first entertainments for kids and for adults.
