The City of Pueblo Transit department operates a local bus service however there is not a bus that services the airport. There are 12 routes in total that travel throughout Pueblo. The main highway into Pueblo is Interstate Highway 25 north and south and US Route 50 east and west .

Another notable Puebloan is David Packard co-founder of computer company Hewlett Packard he is also considered the Father of Silicon Valley. Pueblo has some pretty interesting this to do in and around the Arkansas River Walk.

Things to do in Pueblo
Pueblo, Colorado is the home of the Buell Children’s Museum which is ranked number 2 according to Child Magazine. Bishop Castle boasts that its always open and that it is always free of charge. There isn’t a guided tour but you can walk around the grounds as you wish. The Castle started as a family project and it is very exciting to see. On the grounds there is a dragon that gets fired up on the weekends, picnicking, hiking, camping, horseback riding, lodging and shopping at the Pueblo Mall. Some of the anchor stores are Dillards, JC Penney, Sears, and Sports Authority. The route 6 bus goes by there.

Pueblo has many chain restaurants for those that want to stick with restaurants they are familiar with. Near Highway 96 thee is a McDonalds and off Interstate 87 there is at Wendy’s. On Interstate 50 and Bonforte there is a Wendy’s, McDonald’s, and Little Caesars Pizza. Further north on Interstate 87 near the Pueblo Mall there is a Golden Corral, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Sonic-Drive in, Domino’s Pizza, Country Buffet and Subway just to name a few restaurants. On just about every major freeway in Pueblo you will find Subway and McDonald’s. If you really want to eat some comfort foods try the Pass Key restaurant off Interstate 50. Pass Key serves diner-style Italian and American foods. At the Pass key you can order hot wings, chicken noodle soup, hot dogs or corn dogs, hamburgers, and hoagies.

Along Interstate 87 there are also a lot of chain hotels like the Wingate, Holiday Inn Express, Sleep Inn, Courtyard by the Marriott, Springhill suits, Microtel Inn, and Hampton Inn & Suites. For an unique stay in Pueblo camp at the Bishop Castle or the San Isabel National Forest Campgrounds that it is near.
