Many of the buildings are very attractive to look at like the University Chapel with the stone arches and stained glass windows. Albert Einstein’s house is at 112 Mercer Road. Einstein requested that the house not have a marker. It is best to go on foot as there is nowhere to park near the house.

The Revolutionary War battlefield is called the Princeton Battlefield. There is a memorial and occasionally there is a reenactment. You can also tour the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory. They offer tours to showcase their work with plasma physics and nuclear fusion. There are two theaters, McCarter Theater (won the Tony Award) and the Princeton Garden Theater which show two movies at a time.

For the best seafood in Princeton visit the Blue Point Grill, they don’t have many sides but the seafood is worth a visit. Conte Pizza is one of the only pizzerias with a liquor license. You can also try Massimo Café in downtown or Old World Pizza. At Mexican Village you’ll begin your dinner with a chips and salsa instead of bread. The enchiladas and tacos are really good.

If you are wealthy enough you can book a room at the Nassau Inn. This 18th century inn located in Palme Square is very picturesque and worth a look even if you can’t afford the accommodations. Route 1 is actually not a part of Princeton but many of the businesses have Princeton addresses. You will find the bulk of the sleeping accommodations off Route 1.
