Walk across the Hudson on an old railroad bridge now turned walkway. The entrance is on Parker Avenue and you will end up in Highland, NJ. If you can’t find enough to do in Poughkeepsie you can always drive an hour over to Manhattan where there is plenty of activities.

Fresco’s Chop & Ale House has happy hour starting at 4pm. The serve American and Italian cuisine and they have a great bar.
