 | Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport is a public commercial airport located less than two miles from Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, France. It is one of the six largest airports that services that area of France. It is able to accommodate both domestic and international flights. |
The long term lot is located farthest from the terminal, while short term is located near the main entrance of the terminal. Both long and short term parking up to two weeks’ time is free of charge valet services are available for a small nominal fee . The parking lots are well maintained and spaces are wide. There are no parking lot shuttles. There are two rental car agencies available at the terminal. Sixt and Hertz offer plenty of available vehicles and have ample hours available to suit all of your needs. There is a drop box inside the main terminal on Level 1 for key and document returns of rental cars. The rental car lot is located outside the terminal to the left. While the airport does not have any contracted taxi companies, there are ample taxis that pass through the terminal parking lot daily. Some are metered, while others charge a flat rate. If you are in a metered cab, be sure that the meter works or agree on a fare with the driver before leaving the terminal. There are no buses or public transportation stops at this airport.
