Five parking garages surround the Center, providing convenient parking for all visitors. The Valley Metro bus service provides service from all three airport terminals to downtown Phoenix and makes frequent loops. The METRO light rail has stations throughout the city, including two stops within easy walking distance of the Center. About the Phoenix Convention Center The historic Orpheum Theater offers spectacular live performances. The Roosevelt Row Arts District is one of the most popular arts districts in the United States. For sports fans, Chase Field and the US Airway Center are just minutes away. Anyone wanting to do a little shopping couldn’t wish for a better place than CityScape, the city’s open-air mall which holds everything from specialty boutiques to a CVS pharmacy. The Phoenix Convention Center features 900,000 square feet of meeting and exhibition space which can be arranged to suit any sized group. The facility also has three ballroom, the largest of which covers 46,000 square feet and is the largest ballroom in Arizona. The other two ballrooms serve as multi-purpose areas and are 28,000 and 45,000 square feet, respectively. 46 loading docks scattered around the Center makes it convenient to set up your exhibit no matter where you are assigned. Aventura is the Center’s catering provider and does so in unmatched style. Their flavor, presentation and ambience are more in line with what would be expected at a luxury resort than your typical convention center. For a more casual feel, the Metro Marche food court offers a wide range of dining options including international dishes. Smaller eateries are scattered through all wings of the Center for quick meals throughout the day. In addition to quality service, the Center is also devoted to sustainable practices. Their West building has been awarded the LEED Silver certification for their dedication to going green. Recycling bins are available throughout the facility to enable visitors to be part of their sustainable mission. With downtown Phoenix directly outside the Center’s doors, there are a wide variety of quality accommodations available within walking distance. The Hyatt Regency is less than a block away and boasts Arizona’s only revolving restaurant which offers a terrific view of the city as you dine. The Sheraton Downtown Phoenix Hotel is the next closest, sitting only one block from the Center. Their fitness center and outdoor lap pool are open 24 hours a day, making it easy for you to keep up with your fitness routine no matter what schedule your convention puts you on.
