The Outer Boroughs Airport Shuttle Service
In most of the Outer Boroughs, it is more common to rent than to own although it is much easier to find apartments than in Manhattan and many families rent entire houses. The exception to this rule is once again Staten Island, where the vast majority of residents own their own homes.
The Outer Boroughs of New York |

About The Outer Boroughs of New York There is a much greater percentage of family households in the Outer Boroughs than anywhere in Manhattan. There are many more family households than non-family households in the boroughs. Residents are also more likely to be married. There is not a big difference in the weather between the Outer Boroughs and Manhattan. The felt difference, however, comes about because of the greater amount of green space outside of Manhattan. This helps make it feel cooler in summer. The air quality in the Outer Boroughs is better than in Manhattan though still less compared to the national average. Come visit the Outer Boroughs by reserving a shuttle drop off from JFK or LGA and stay here for a few days to relax. One of the greatest luxuries of the Outer Boroughs is the bigger apartments. Most living space has two or even three bedrooms. The tradeoff for this extra elbow room is a longer commute to work, with the average time hovering around 40 to 45 minutes for all of the Outer Boroughs. The school system in the Outer Boroughs varies widely. In Staten Island, for example, there are very few private school but the public schools are ranked very high. In the Bronx, on the other hand, the public schools are ranked low but there are lots of private schools to choose from. |
