There are no fewer than 15 nearby hotels that also offer shuttle service to and from YOW. The standard compliment of limos and taxis are also available at the terminal if transportation arrangements aren’t prearranged or when plans change during your flight. About Ottawa Airport Over 4.6 million passengers and 160,000 aircraft traveled through MacDonald–Cartier International Airport 2012. This volume makes it one of the busiest airports by airline passenger and aircraft traffic in Canada. YOW relies on a single terminal to service all passenger flights. Following an expansion in 2003, that was completed ahead of schedule, the airport made use of two terminals for a 5 year period. Part of the older terminal was used to handle most domestic prop flights and also used during peak times for the extra gate space and increased efficiency. The older terminal was demolished in 2008. There airport offers Wi-Fi and standard ground transportation options. Hotels near YOW YOW boasts many other luxury and budget friendly hotels from which to choose. Some popular choices include: Crowne Plaza, Sheraton and Best Western. The airport also offers abundant food and beverage choices including fast food, casual dining and coffee shops.
