There is so much to see and do all year round, but residents celebrate summer wth the North Side Summerfest. At Summerfest there is live music, good food, arts and crafts plus so much more. Another great indicator that Chicagoans from the North Center neighborhood are ready for the summer is the annual Ribfest. All that Ribfest visitors need to do is provide a $5 donation to enjoy the fun. Its 3 days of all you can eat ribs music, and lots of activities for kids. The Pride Parade is lso a very popular evet for the residents of North Center.

North Center
North Center shuttle to the airport
North Center is located on the city’s North Side and its borders are comprised of Addison, The Chicago River, Montrose, and N Ravenswood Avenue. The North Center neighborhood is an eclectic mix providing diverse retailers, live music, theaters and many service oriented businesses with roundtrip rides to hotels in Chicago.
About North Center
It is regarded as having some of the best public schools in the City of Chicago. The European influences are vividly displayed in the architecture in the areas as well as the influences that film has had on the area (some of the Selig Polyscope Company Production buildings are still standing).

The North Center neighborhood is considered a quiet neighborhood with leafy, subdued areas. Over the past decade the area has bloomed quite nicely which is evident by the new businesses that have sprung up along Lincoln Avenue.

It is fairly easy to find reasonable parking in the neighborhood. This neighborhood is pleasant for bike riders and its streets are not as busy. The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) also runs several buses through the area including the El: (CTA Brown line).

This is an ideal neighborhood with the fairytale "White house and picket fence" style setting. The lawns are often well manicured and the housing selection is diverse. Here you will find Victorian Style homes, townhouses, three-flats as well as older apartment buildings and daily airport transfers to ORD Airport.

Residents of North Center don’t have to travel far for entertainment and recreation: a bowling alley, indoor and outdoor ice skating rink, tennis courts, basketball courts, football, and soccer fields are all within reach. The night life in North Center is just as great. At Martyrs’ you can enjoy live musical acts and enjoy the atmosphere. Each table is decorated to pay homage to late musicians and you can hang out right at the stage while the performers are on. For the sports fan you can head over to The Globe pub for great pub food and to catch the game. Monday is open mic night for up and coming comedians.
