Melrose Airport Shuttle Service
As the district continues to experience commercial evolution, it is expedient to mention some prominent stores which once sat on the avenue. Today famous stores established by prominent artists are on the rise, some include Joe Hahn’s SURU, who is a member of Linkin Park an American rock band and the D-A-S-H boutiques established by the Kardashian sisters.

Located between the borders of Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, Melrose Avenue traces its length from Santa Monica Boulevard to Silver Lake’s Lucille Avenue. | |
About Melrose Melrose Avenue seems to be an all-rounder, in other words it has become a mishmash zone for everything. It tends to be a place for all walks of life. The block is mainly engaged with all sorts of commercial activities ranging from shopping, viewing, dining etc. it is difficult to find a spot like this. The district serves as a major throughway running from Fairfax Avenue to Highland Avenue. In the late 19th century Melrose Avenue, it was often referred to as “a place to be”. People flocked there to experience the newly invented rock music style popular at that time. However, the avenue has experienced a drop in visitations from folks since then. But don't worry, you can easily book a private shuttle from Los Angeles airport anytime to get here. Trading and shopping activities in the eastern portion of the avenue as seen today started since the late 19th century. This development was the initiative of early enterprising merchants and restaurant owners. The district grew rapidly to become well known when it became the place of birth for southern California’s nouvelle vague. Before the closure of the avenue, it used to be a notorious hub for hooliganism amongst movie artists, business tycoons and fashion enthusiasts. Today, the avenue of Melrose has undergone major commercial transformations. The avenue is sidelined with several shopping stores such as Starbucks, American Apparel, American Vintage, Urban Outfitters, Crossroads Clothing Company, and quite a number of secondhand clothing stores. Another spectacular spot in Melrose that hosts nonresidential buildings but runs as a full commercial area is the famous Melrose Place situated on a crossroad between the avenue and La Cienega Boulevard. This historical spot has been home to many salons, shops and boutiques. The avenue is prominent for its weekly tradition, organized every Sundays, since 1997 at the Melrose Trading Post. The Greenway Arts Alliance hosts this weekly local event where it features more than 250 local merchants, craftsmen and music/movie artists for cultural celebration. The Fairfax High School and the neighboring avenues have benefited immensely from this weekly event. Funds acquired from the sale of food by vendors and low-cost admission fees are used to sponsor an educational program in arts on the campus of the Institute for the Arts a Greenway. |
