About the M. C. Benton Convention Center The M.C. Beaton Convention Center has more than 100,000 square feet of usable space, making it large enough to accommodate nearly any gathering. The facility also has two dedicated exhibition halls with their own loading docks to make setup and breakdown of exhibits fast and easy. The convention center is part of a larger complex that offers a wide range of shopping and amenities for both visitors and local residents. The convention center can also provide two high-quality ballrooms for formal events or weddings, if needed. These ballrooms are hotel-quality and are able to handle large groups simultaneously. They can be part of a larger convention or special event package as arranged with convention center management. The convention center makes setting up an exhibit or conference easy. They have unlimited weight limits on the exhibition floor, so even the largest equipment is no problem. Additionally, there is freight loading available in most areas of the building to make loading and unloading simple. In fact, the exhibition hall has a drive-on option to allow you to bring your supplies directly into the exhibition hall without unloading and transporting by hand. The facility has a full range of audio and visual equipment to allow presentations as well as special events. If you need food at your event, the convention center also has an in-house catering department to make the entire process as painless as possible.
