General Rafael Buelna International Airport commonly known as Mazatlan international Airport abbreviated MZT is located in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico. The airport is located on the south east side of the city.

About Mazatlan Airport
It serves more than 700 thousand people each year. Mazatlan itself is on the Baja California peninsula on its southernmost tip. Mazatlan in Nahuatl; the language of the Aztec people, means place of deer. There are more than 400 thousand people that live in Mazatlan. There is a tropical climate that has moderate humidity all year round.

Things to do in Mazatlan
See the cliff divers or try if you dare. Cliff divers are usually around early in the morning, but you can see some diving all day long. Go to the Acuario Mazatlan and see the bird, seals, and diving shows.

Mazatlan has lots of water sports including surfing, jet skiing, waterskiing and sailing. Visit the beach, Olas Atlas there are many restaurant there. There are many museums and cathedrals in the city also.

There is amazing seafood in Mazatlan. Crab, shrimp, and fish tacos as well as prepared in other ways. Chon sells four tacos for a little more than 50 pesos. Te Amo Lucy’s serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. With breakfast you can enjoy fresh squeezed orange juice, the food is all homemade, and the locals really love this place. In the most of the restaurants will serve ham, eggs, toast, beans, and tortillas for 30 pesos. LaMona is a great place to get pizza and salads it’s always crowded and the salads are tourist safe. On the beach you can eat at Joe’s Oyster Bar, its in the hotel Ramada. The have 2 for 1 beer most nights.

Mazatlan is known for its major resorts with great pricing. It’s a very attractive beach destination. The Sea Garden is a luxury resort with spa and 3 swimming pools located on the beach. They have tennis courts and a gym. Another beach front hotel is the Pueblo Bonito it’s on one of the longest stretches of beaches and has all modern amenities.
