The airport is located within the city of Liverpool and has been named after the Beatles’ member John Lennon. |
Liverpool John Lennon Airport offers domestic services and has flights to locations all across Europe. Back in 1997 to 2007, it has been deemed as one of Europe’s fastest developing airports, but the number of its passengers has drastically decreased leaving it at the 13th place of United Kingdom’s busiest airports. It features amenities and facilities for its passengers, which include numerous cafés and shops within the passenger terminal for both landside and airside. There is also a payable lounge for passengers to be able to relax and lie around while they wait for their flight as well as a Wetherspoon pub. Liverpool Hotel Shuttles Located within the airport is one of Hilton’s three worldwide hotels which is the Hampton by Hilton Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
