Laredo International Airport, a municipal airport, is located less than five miles from the center of Laredo, Texas. So you should make reservations online ahead of time for private and shared ride vans and executive sedans during peak season travel. Laredo International offers ample parking. There are two main lots, one for long term parking and one for short term parking. Lots are well maintained, spacious and are patrolled by attendants as well as secured with cameras. There are no bus stops or public transit stops at this airport. There are no trains, railways or subways at this airport. Public transportation can be found downtown. There are five rental car companies that have agency booths at the airport. Rental booths are located near the ticketing stations. The companies include Avis, Budget, Hertz, Enterprise and National. The rental car lot is located outside the main entrance of the terminal to the right. The airport spans just under 1,800 acres of land which houses a main terminal and three asphalt runways.
