There are seven rental car agencies located at the terminal. These include Avis, Hertz, Dollar, Budget and Thrifty, amongst others. All of them offer discounts to valid military ID holders of Fort Hood and other military stations . The rental car lot is located outside the main entrance to the terminal to the right in a specially designated lot. Cove Taxi is the only on-site contracted taxi company with e airport. There is a small section of parking at the front of the short term lot where you can find a taxi. Other taxi companies in town include Express Cab and Luxury Cab Company, though neither are on-site at the airport. There is one bus stop for the HOP Public Transit of Texas, the local busing company. There are no subways, railways, or other public forms of transportation available at the airport.
