About Kenwood
It was a very affluent part of the city at one time, and still has many large single-family homes – some of the largest in the city. It is also home to President Obama, which is how it has received a lot of national acclaim. There have been a number of notable residents in this community. In addition to Barack Obama, Muhammad Ali and Edward Levi are just some of the famous residents. The population is around 17,000 and the area is just over 1 square mile, to get to Kenwood is easy as you can order a drop off from O'Hare International.

The George W Blossom House was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The Timothy B. Blackstone Library was renovated in 1980 and celebrated being open 100 years in 2004.
