About the Kentucky International Convention Center The convention Center is centrally located and within walking distance to the many hotels and dining facilities in the area. Guests have a choice of two restaurants located inside the Kentucky International Convention Center. One can choose a sit down meal or grab a quick bite as you are passing. The International Center is known as the largest meeting place with a space of almost 300,000 feet. There are 54 meeting rooms available for use, and the convention center can host up to 1,000 booths. Rooms included for rental include a banquet room, classrooms or meeting rooms and also a theater. There are storage areas available and plenty of other amenities and features ready for all. The center has a loading platform and drive in ramp. The meeting rooms have high powered electrical outlets, Audio visual capabilities, food, air conditioning and teleconferencing availability. Elevators and escalators, along with stairs are available to go from floor to floor with ease. The Banquet room will comfortably seat 9,500 people, the classrooms/meeting rooms have a capacity of 9,500, and the theater will seat up to 12,500 people. Conveniently located near 3,000 hotel rooms, the Kentucky International Convention Center is the prime location to hold meetings, concerts or sporting events. The Center is connected by a skybridge to the Louisville Convention Center Hotel. This hotel offers complete comfort and luxury, and is at the heart of downtown.
