National Elk Refuge
Although the name of the park is the National Elk Refuge, there are definitely more species present along the grounds than elk. Although the majestic elk of Wyoming roam the refuge, a wide variety of other animals also explore the grounds, not to mention sleigh rides offered in the winter.

Whether you’re in the mood to take a look at a slew of historic buildings, get a drink at the local Tavern, or simply spend the day shopping across all the eclectic shops, you’ll be sure to find anything you’ll need at Town Square. As the central hub of entertainment, food, and culture, Jackson’s Town Square is as good as it gets.

Flying into Jackson Hole Airport
Located over seven miles north of downtown, which is already located in a county seemingly in the middle of nowhere, it may seem like there’s not much outside the airport, but the facility is filled with modern-day conveniences, especially because of the surprisingly high traffic. With six major airlines, a café, and a good track record, you should have no troubles getting where you need to go, especially with the transportation the airport provides.

If you’re in need of an even greater adventure, explore Antelope Flats, a relatively isolated detour that isn’t much when you first look at it, but after a while becomes as beautiful as it is iconic.
