About Honolulu Convention Center The Ala Moana Shopping Center is within walking distance, home of world class shopping and dining in a relaxed, open-air atmosphere. Accommodations ranging from lower end hotels and motels to high end luxury resorts are all within reach of the conference center. The Hilton Hawaiian Village is among the most popular, and the Ala Moana Hotel is the closest. Downtown Honolulu is just minutes away, providing a thriving cultural atmosphere and fantastic local dining options, as well as the State Capitol.
