Along the northern shores of Hong Kong Island, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre is the perfect business haven for taking in skyline views from the iconic Golden Bauhinia Square. Spaces within the venue include a divisible exhibition hall dubbed ‘Convention Hall’, ornate architectural details in the Grand Hall, a few auditoriums and dozens of smaller meeting rooms. Down the street from the complex is the Wayn Chai Ferry Pier, where guests can easily reach the city’s mainland, while slightly further rests the Wan Chai Subway Station’s various drop offs across the island. Make things easier by going with the convenience of meet-and-greet services instead, whether that means arriving to Hong Kong International via taxi or sticking to what the locals know via local personal drivers. Private vehicles ranging from sedans to SUVs can be a bit more liberating as well, something to keep in mind to experience the freedom of seeing the countryside or getting lost in the city.

At the heart of Hong Kong’s shopping district of Wan Chai, guests will have plenty to entertain themselves throughout the day. Especially easy ways to do so are through luxury hotels close to the venue including the upscale luxury of Grand Hyatt Hong Kong and Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View, each looking out at Victoria Harbour and attached to the Convention Plaza Shopping Arcade. Get a splash of New York-style glamour at Times Square afterward, a multi-floor shopping mall east of the venue renown for its brightly lit streets and close access to the nearby restaurants of Crowne Plaza Causeway Bay. Other interesting hangouts include the specially tailored boutiques of Lee Tung Avenue, a park-themed outdoor shopping strip close to the historic grounds of the Asia Society Hong Kong Center and its exploration through a rich culture and sometimes dark history. Enjoy the end of the night with a memorable view from the iconic Hong Kong Observation Wheel, afterward departing from one of many ferries adjacent to the spinning gondolas.
