Hickory Airport Shuttles
Hickory shuttle to the airport
Hickory Regional Airport (HKY) is located in downtown Hickory, North Carolina. The airport primarily has commercial and general aviation operations. Hickory itself has a population of more than 40 thousand residents.

Public transportation is available through Western Piedmont Regional Transit Authority PRTA . Buses are known as the Greenway Public Transportation. There are fixed routes for Conover, Hickory, and Newton, North Carolina. If you prefer to drive be careful the one-way streets can cause some difficulty as well as the unconventionally named streets. The locals can be really helpful when they give directions, however many of them will point out where something use to be as a guide. Just let them know you are a visitor so the directions can be more concrete.
