Hattiesburg Airport Shuttle Service
Laurel is also home to Amtrack train lines. Many come to Laurel for its simple charm, then take a day trip to Jackson Mississippi or New Orleans, Louisiana. There is not a fixed designated public transportation system in Hattiesburg. There are four fixed routes where all of the buses begin at the downtown train depot.

Route 1 goes by the Turtle Creek and University Mall, as well as Wal-Mart and Sams. Route 2 goes by the other Wal-Mart and the Country club. Route 3 has variant service with every other bus going to the Forrest County Health Department. Route 4 goes to the Bobby Chain Airport and the Pearl River Community College.
