About GRB Airport
Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport is a hugely important passageway between Green Bay and the rest of the American Midwest. The airport’s code is (GRB) and services the eastern Wisconsin area. Located in Brown County, a short seven nautical miles from the city of Green Bay the airport takes its name from armed forces hero Austin Straubel, who was the first military aviator to sacrifice his life for the United States.

Used by commercial flyers and general aviators, Green Bay International has had positive effects on the Green Bay area. The airport is responsible for the employment of hundreds of local residents and has played a role in the area’s thriving economy. As one of the state’s only two international airports, Green Bay Airport holds an important place in Wisconsin travel.

Responsible for several hundred thousand passengers each year, Green Bat typically ranks only behind Milwaukee and Madison as the most trafficked airports in the state. In the past year, over 280,000 passengers traveled through Green Bay International Airport for services to Green Bay’s four most targeted cities Chicago, Minneapolis, Detroit and Atlanta.

Green Bay’s airport is split into two concourses, each with six gates. Concourse A serves airlines such as Sun Country Airlines and United Express with flights traveling to and from Chicago. Concourse B is where Delta Air Lines and Delta Connection passengers board. Flights to Detroit, Minneapolis and Atlanta are all available at this concourse.

Green Bay is not only one of the greatest cities in Wisconsin; it’s also a great cornerstone and iconic town in the United States. Located at the head of Green Bay and located near Lake Michigan as well as Fox River, the city is known for its wide variety of nightlife, delicious restaurants, and natural wonders.
