Grand Island Airport Shuttle Service

Parking at GRI For passengers traveling to the Central Nebraska Regional by using their own personal vehicles, free outside parking is available within close waking distance to the airport terminal. About Grand Island Airport In September 2012, Central Nebraska Regional Airport celebrated its 75th anniversary. The airport is moving to support future growth and providing new enhancements for passengers. Construction recently took place in September 2014 to build a new passenger terminal which is scheduled to be completed and begin operations in the spring of 2016. Airlines serving Central Nebraska Regional Airport are Allegiant Air and American Eagle Airlines. Allegiant provides service to Phoenix, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada, while American Eagle Airlines offers service to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. There is also charter air service available for trips to Laughlin, Nevada and Wendover, Nevada. Pre-screening is now being offered to passengers traveling through the Central Nebraska Regional Airport by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). This service is provided to low-risk travelers who wish to experience a faster screening process. More information can be obtained by calling (308) 382-0344 or by visiting www.tsa.gov. The Afternooner’s Restaurant is located in the airport terminal with its own dedicated parking area and offers food services each day, except for Saturday.
