About Georgia International Convention Center Georgia International Convention Center (GICC) is a fairly new venue for the area and the second largest convention center in Georgia. It is conveniently located adjacent from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and offers 400,000 sq. ft. of versatile space to meet anyone’s needs. No event is too big or too small for their professional and friendly staff. They have experience hosting everything from movie shoots to sporting events. No outside food is allowed, but that isn’t an issue. With their state of the art Culinary Arts Center you won’t be disappointed. It is 9,500 sq. ft. of culinary mastery. They pride themselves in creating restaurant quality dishes that are fresh and unique. Executive Chef David Bidwell uses only the freshest locally grown ingredients. As far as accommodations are concerned GICC has two hotels on their campus within walking distance for your convenience.
