The Metro system makes it very easy to travel from the airport to locations all over Miami, including Florida International University. Metro buses make regular stops at both major campuses, as well as the airport. Metro passes and EASY cards simplify your bus travel. Avoid digging for change by using an EASY card. Current students are given a discount on cards and passes. Monthly cards can be per-ordered on campus. They can also be purchased through the university’s website if you wish to avoid standing in line. Once you have your EASY card, you can breeze to the airport, the beach, back to campus, or anywhere you want to go throughout the Miami area. Florida International University There are only 50,000 students currently living at learning at FIU. FIU has two major campuses, both in the Miami area. The university also owns several other properties, all in or around the city. Getting around the university’s various locations is no trouble, either. FIU runs buses between all of their properties, giving students the freedom to go wherever they need to be. Things to do in Miami And of course, just a hop, skip, and jump away is Miami Beach. One of America’s most popular beaches for almost 100 years will be right in your backyard. Take in the exciting night life, go dancing at the clubs, relax on the beach or take to the water for some adventurous water sports.
