Fells Point
Fells Point shuttle to the airport
Fells Point is a cool old neighborhood in Baltimore, Maryland. This historical waterfront neighborhood is a celebration of the nautical lifestyle from the 1700’s. It has one of the largest concentrations of bars and nightlife all within walking distance.

About Fells Point
Fells Point is easy to navigate having two main streets. Many restaurants and upscale retail outlets are concentrated into this area on the waterfront. Fells Point is a great trendy neighborhood with many eclectic shops and restaurants. Traveling by shuttle from Baltimore-Washington airport is convenient to this location being only about a 15 minute drive. The area where the two main streets (Thames & Broadway) intersect is where the concentration of bars, restaurants and shops are located.

Restaurants in Fells Point
Eating in Fells Point includes all the restaurants in Little Italy, known as a favorite place to eat. Amiccis is one I would recommend because of the reasonable prices with large portions where they say the wine flows! It is also casual and laid back. Another can’t miss restaurant is Attman’s NY Jewish Deli. They have the best Corned beef and pastrami sandwiches. Of course being on the Chesapeake Bay you will encounter great seafood.

You won’t find to many chain hotels in the Fells Point neighborhood. What you will find is lots of small inns including Bed & Breakfasts with lots of history. The inner harbor which is nearby would have more upscale chain hotels. Celie’s waterfront inn on Thames St. is fairly affordable as well.

Fells Point Attractions
The location of Fells Point is just east of downtown Maryland. There are lots of attractions nearby. One attraction right in Fells Point is the Baltimore Tattoo Museum. It is both a living history and a place you can walk out of with a tattoo. There are some fun ways to see the area including taking the Water Taxi to the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. There is also a walkway between the two areas called The Promenade.

Some other fun attractions to check out in Fells Point is the Ghost walk and the Haunted Pub Walk. Check this tour out of the haunted historic places with tour guides in costume this could be really fun.

Another attraction not to be missed is the antique store called "The Antique Man" on Fleet Street. The store is like a carnival sideshow and has a 12 foot Mummy on hand. Lots of other antique stores are also located there. The numerous retail shops, pubs and restaurants stay open late 7 days a week. Lots of great live music is available at the numerous pubs.
