Downtown Baltimore Airport Shuttle Service
BWI Airport transportation to Downtown Baltimore is easily reached by using light rail system and only costs very little for one way. There are also Taxis that run from the airport to the Downtown Area and cost would be very minimal. Courtesy shuttles are also available from the airport for certain hotels. Downtown Baltimore seems to have a lot more to enjoy then what I just mentioned but at least you are getting a good idea of how to enjoy it.

The area of Downtown Baltimore has plenty to offer. It is near some major attractions and there are some very affordable places to stay and eat.

About Downtown Baltimore
The downtown area includes places like the Inner Harbor, Mount Vernon and Camden Yards home of the Baltimore Orioles. The area has lots of old Architecture and attractions nearby. The area is home to government and business and can be reached from the Baltimore International Airport by taking the light rail for only a $1.60! You don’t want to miss the place Edgar Allan Poe is buried at the Westminster Hall Church and the Baltimore Arena where big time indoor events take place.

Another can’t miss in downtown Baltimore is the Lexington Market Area. It has been in operation since the 1700’s and has restaurants along with people selling produce, fish and other products. It is a large market and is popular for locals in the daytime. This market would have fish and typical Baltimore cuisine. Tables are available to eat on.

Hotels in Downtown Baltimore
Neighborhood Hotels include the inexpensive Hostelling International Baltimore. You can get a bed for a low rate and it even has a free breakfast and WiFi along with private rooms. Home2 Suites by Hilton are located near the Inner Harbor Area of Downtown, a short departure from BWI and are in the more expensive The Tremont Plaza Hotel is located only 8 blocks from the Inner Harbor and there are five restaurants located within.

The Attractions in the Downtown Baltimore area are some very original ones that can’t be missed. Westminster Hall Church is a can’t miss for all you Edgar Allan Poe fans as he is buried there. There are some tours of the church and graves of other famous people. Some other very worthy attractions include the Hippodrome Theatre for lots of performing arts. The Baltimore Arena is another major indoor venue for sports and events.

Current Gallery is an art gallery during the day and at night turns into a Indie Music scene. Another cool artist place is the Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower. This cool old clock tower houses art studios. Nearby the downtown area is the famous Camden Yards home to the Baltimore Orioles baseball team. The Downtown Area is next to the Inner Harbor which is a big tourist center in Baltimore. The views of the harbor can be taken in with the Water Taxi service. Mount Vernon is another area just north of downtown and known for its nightlife.
