Deer Valley Airport is a transportation hotspot to be reckoned with; you may have overlooked this airport in the past assuming it was small, but this airport definitely has it all without all of the hassles one might endure at the busier ones inside Phoenix.

Deer Valley Airport has your average amenities that all airports possess; loaded with parking, stations to charge your devices, and rental car services provided by Enterprise. They also have something rather unique and that is an in-house restaurant called “A Little Slice of Home”.

This eatery has loads to offer such as a calling ahead option that allows diners that may be in a hurry or working while traveling to call their orders in and stop by to pick them up ready for their departures or landings. Dine off of home cooked options such as fried chicken, ribs, endless buffets, and a slew of desserts. Much better options that grabbing a coffee and a not-so-fresh muffin on your trip.

The Deer Valley Airport or DVT for its airport code, is one that is settled just north of Phoenix and serving the desert city and surrounds communities such as Avondale, Anthem, Surprise, Goodyear, Palm Valley and Tolleson to name just a few.

The DVT known as the busiest airport in the country that does not operate daily with a scheduled airliner. Most airports have several airlines that lease space inside their terminals and have regular flights departing from that airport as a home base. DVT does not have any of these but still remains busy.

It is also the host to many airshows all year round, and additionally a local favorite for hot air balloons. With close proximity to the heart of downtown Phoenix, it is convenient to major hotel chains, restaurants, and sports stadiums that can be found just a short drive away.
