Known as both a public airport and a Cargo airport with general aviation activities, Rickenbacker International Airport is located on the Southwest side of Columbus. Ohio’s Air National Guard Air Refueling Station is maintaining its current location on the airfield.

There is also on demand taxi service available through the airport. The taxis charge a reasonable fee and rates. Port Columbus is served by the Central Ohio Transit Authority. This is a public bus service that is available to take visitors almost anywhere in the city of Columbus. Rickenbacker International Airport was originally launched to make a redevelopment of the Rickenbacker Air Force Base.
