About Cliffside Park It is situated between the George Washington Bridge and the Lincoln Tunnel. Palisade Avenue, the other main thoroughfare in Cliffside Park offers a beautiful view of the Hudson River and also the gorgeous view of the New York Skyline. Grant’s Tomb is located on the opposite side of the Hudson River, and the people of Cliffside Park have named a portion of their town after Grant. This area is known as Grantwood. The local government consists of the Mayor and the Borough Council. Education is a priority in this quaint town, with the ratio of student to teacher at sixteen to one. The education system does consist of kindergarten through senior high school. Located in town is also a Public Library.
