About the Clemente Center In the fitness areas there are various options to do strength training, along with group fitness classes and cardio machines, all designed to accommodate all skill levels. The seating capacity is 3,500. This is the place where the University’s commencement ceremonies and other special events are held. The Clemente Center offers Aquatic Programming with private swimming lessons available for all ages and skill levels. Once registered, participants are able to discuss what goals they wish to achieve by taking the lessons, and the lessons are scheduled to fit with both the instructor and the participant’s availability. Another great option at the Clemente Center is their outdoor recreation and fitness activities. Ever think of going kayaking down the Indian River? Well, you can here. What about backpacking into the Appalachian Mountains. Right place again. Perhaps you’d simply like to go camping at the Sebastian inlet again no problem. The Clemente Center has large quantities of equipment for outfitting any type of outdoor recreation adventure you want.
