Casper-Natrona County International Airport (CPR) is located in Casper, Wyoming. The airport currently has passenger flights offered by SkyWest Airlines for Delta and United Airlines; they also have serves with Allegiant Air.

About Casper Airport
There are occasional casino or gamblers flights as they are often referred to. Casper itself is the second largest city in Wyoming next to the capital Cheyenne. Casper means Red Hill City in Lakota a Siouan Language of the Sioux tribes. However Casper is nicknamed the Oil Cit because of its long history with oil. More than 55 thousand people live in Casper.

Things to do in Casper
Shopping at the Eastridge Mall; the anchor stores are Macy’s, JC Penney, Sears, and Target. The Blue Route goes to the mall. You can also take a tour of Fort Casper, sometimes they host a reenactment. This is the location of the Battle of the Platte Bridge Station and an important part of the Colorado War.

You’ll want to go on one of the trail Exhibits at The National Historic Trails Interpretive Center. Another must-do is going skiing at the Hogadon Ski Area it has 3 lifts and 24 runs. You can also go swimming at the Casper Family Aquatic Center; make sure to check the schedule for age appropriate swim times.

Casper Restaurants
Just like any other city a drive down the main highway will lead you to most restaurant chains. In Casper Interstate 25, US 20, and US 87 are full of great places to eat like Subway, Blimpie, Applebee’s, Outback Steakhouse, Taco bell, and McDonald’s just to name a few. If you are looking for an American comfort food spot head over to Perkins Restaurant, the Monterrey Shrimp Past is awesome and they have the best Chocolate Peanut Butter Mammoth Muffins you ever wanted to taste. Perkins is across from the mall on 2nd St.

Hotels near CPR
Casper has many of the chain hotels located on Interstate 25, US 20, and US 87, Main Stay Suites, Quality Inn and Suites, Super 8, and Hilton Garden Inn. Super 8 and Parkway Plaza Hotel Convention center usually have lower cost than most other accommodations. If you want the advantage of many luxury amenities stay at the Courtyard Casper, Holiday Inn Express or the Hilton Gardens. Their rates are normally higher but the upgraded amenities are usually worth the price.
