Provo Airport Shuttle Service
The Provo Municipal with the airport code PVU is located 2 miles west of Provo. It is the second busiest airport in the state in terms of the number of aircraft movement. It is a 45 minute drive to Salt Lake International . Provo also has a Amtrak station and Greyhound lines, that provide transportation to and from Provo, Utah.

The Utah Transit Authority operates bus service and commuter rail service in the city. The service also provides service in and around Orem and to Salt Lake City Utah. The service for getting around Provo itself and other parts of the county is relatively sparse. The area around BYU is walkable but you will want a car if you plan on traveling around the city and is located near Salt Lake City International Airport.

About Brigham Young University
BYU is the largest religious university and is ranked one of the larger privately owned universities. More than 34,000 students live on-campus. Almost all of the students come from the LDS Church and all students are required to follow an honor code that centers on LDS teachings. These teaching include rules regarding academic honesty and grooming. Provo itself is the third largest city in Utah with a population of more than 115 thousand people. Provo is less than 10 minutes away from Orem which also provides its visitors with a host of things to do,

Things to do in Provo
BYU has many museums and galleries on campus. Start at the visitors center on campus in the Hinckley center on North Camus Drive. They will also give you a golf cart tour. Visit the Peaks Ice Areas. The Salt Lake City Winter Olympics were held there in 2002. Go to Bridal Veil Falls to see the 607-foot water fall in Provo Canyon. You can hike and bike this area. Hike the Y in 45 minutes. Y Mountain is a popular easy hike that takes 45 minutes in each direction. Once at the top you have a beautiful view of the valley and the lake. Enjoy the outdoors: jet skis, boating, fishing, and other water sports. In the winter you can ski and snowboard in the snow.

Provo Restaurants
Just like most US cities you will find the most popular food chains in the Provo (McDonald’s, Burger King, Taco Bell etc.). If you want something a little more exciting try the Tucanos Brazilian Grill located near the Shops at Riverwoods. Skewers are brought to your table and the meet is sliced right onto your dinner plate. Bombay House is also a local favorite. It was started by an Indian BYU student and it’s well known for its lassis and naan. BYU students love to eat at Brick Oven, enjoy great pizza and homemade root beer.

Hotels in Provo
The Sundance Resort located 13 miles northeast of the Provo Canyon. This ski resort is famously made a year round resort by actor Robert Redford and is noted for its inception of the Sundance Film Festival. There are many national chain hotels throughout the city: Best Western, LaQuinta, Countryard Marriott, Hampton Inn & Suites, and Residence Inn to name a few.
