Aventura Mall is located here, which is one of the largest malls in the United States, many travelers get a pick up from the MIA airport and come here for the day as it will take you that long to walk through the mall. This complex contains over two million square feet of shopping space. There are also many outdoor stores to choose from. There is something for everyone.

These outdoor shops are perfect with Aventura’s climate. In summer the temperatures rarely dip below 75 degrees Fahrenheit. During the day, temperatures often rise into the 90’s, but a steady stream of air off the Atlantic Ocean often helps cool things down. Winter brings a relief from the humidity and temperatures still stay in the 70’s. Lows are usually in the 50’s and it is very rare for it to get colder than 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

In addition to maintaining public parks, Aventura’s parks and recreation department also operates the Community Resource Center and a Liberal Arts theater. There are always events taking place, offering shows that include music from all genres, dance acts and theater performances.

Aventura is built around a golf course. Even if golf isn’t your game, you are going to love this city. This is a three mile trail, paved for walkers and joggers. The horticulture surrounding the promenade is absolutely stunning, as are the views that can be seen no matter what point you are at in the circle. You can take in the high-rise district, stop and admire opulently landscaped lakes, watch yachts at full sail and take in the Atlantic Ocean.
