Asheville Shuttle and Asheville Premiere Transportation provide car, van, and limo service from the airport to most local destinations. Asheville Taxi Company is the most frequently recommended taxi service based on price and availability at the airport. The city of Asheville has a bus service from the airport to the city center. Rental cars are available in the terminal from Avis, Budget, Hertz, Enterprise, and Alamo. There are two overflow parking lots behind those two. A call waiting lot is available. Parking lots are open 24 hours a day. There are two rows of handicapped parking in the short term lot. Long term parking lot as a maximum of 30 days before being towed. There are five rental car agencies on site, including Avis and Hertz. There is also an Enterprise around the corner from the airport. There is a taxicab staging area on the premises. Cabs at the station change daily however, there are cabs there 24 hours. Taxis are can start at $2.50 a mile, while car and limo services are flat rate based on destination. Two bus stations stop at the airport. The Ashville Downtown runs for about $1.00 per person while the Hendersonville runs for about $0.75 per person. There are no shuttling services available at the airport. The Residence at the Biltmore is considered to be one of the most complete facilities that provide all the best amenities as well as a central location for seeing the historical attractions and natural beauty in Asheville.
