Anchorage is a huge city in the beautiful state of Alaska. The city is beautiful with lofty mountains of Chugach State Park in the backdrop and vast spread waters of Gulf of Alaska on the other side. The Alaska Heritage Center in the midst of the city offers traditional crafts, stage dances, and showcases the history of indigenous people. Though it is a metropolitan city but it is a huge tourist attraction as well. Numbers of people travel here for business and tourism, every year especially in summers. It is the main ship port of Alaska as well at the Port of Anchorage. Most of the cargo vessels and cruise get here first before moving to other parts.
ANC airport transportation offers rides for limos, shuttles and taxi services and is a major facility in the vicinity when it comes to air travel. It is not a huge airport like in many other cities of the US, but still, its services are well kept. You will not find many food options but the ones which are open offer quality food. It is a quiet setting as you don’t find huge congregations on a regular basis, making the custom clearings and other processes are swift here. The airport is surrounded by beautiful lakes (Hood, Spenard, and Lake DeLong) and parks (Kincaid and Earthquake). You can easily get there walking. However, you can find cab within the parameters of the airport to get there, and to other places in and around the beautiful city of Anchorage as well.
